Supermoon #222

Did you know the largest supermoon of the year was last night? Supermoons can be up to 14 percent closer and 30 percent brighter than what we normally see during a full moon. Last nights moon became full during the time that it was at it’s closest point to Earth making it outshine other supermoons. I couldn’t get a good picture. Too bad!

The next supermoon will be on September 9th. Since my anniversary in on September 10th, my husband said he ordered it for my anniversary. I think he is considering that my anniversary gift! We’ll see about that!! He still owes me a hot air balloon ride!

Drinking Again #223

Tonight was Margarita night again. We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant and got to taste their newest margarita flavor. The had a prickly pear frozen margarita. I had a sample of one and then decided to sample the prickly pear and strawberry swirl. Another favorite! My husband didn’t care for the prickly pear so he went for a straight strawberry margarita.

My friend, Satia, sent my a link to make my own margaritas. I haven’t tried any yet. I am afraid that I would decide to drink too many. I am keeping the link and sometime when we are having friends over I will have to try to make some. Here is the link she sent to make your own margaritas.
