Girlfriends who are there when you need to call and vent, girlfriends who meet you after work for some much-needed retail therapy and girlfriends who let you raid their closets when you're in desperate need of something new to wear. I had a fun style swap party with some of my dearest friends and today I'm giving you the inside scoop. For this challenge, I enlisted the help of my friend Colby. She's fun, vivacious and full of personality! She loves bold prints, bright colors and statement jewelry. For the swap, Colby was nice enough to let me borrow her super chic silver statement necklace that she scored at Target. To put a fun holiday spin on this everyday necklace I paired it with a burgundy skater skirt, a black velvet crop top and a cream bow coat. Of course, you can never have too many bows if you ask me, so I added in statement bow pumps and topped my look off with burgundy lipstick. This necklace is so versatile! It could easily be transitioned to a day at the office with a structured blazer, a crisp a button-down, and sleek slacks, that's Colby's favorite way to wear it.
Swap parties are so much fun! Do you and your girlfriends ever get your swap on?
