Beautiful Nude Shoes

HELP! I can’t stop staring at nudes! Nude shoes, that is. Okay, I just had to say it. I don’t really talk like a cheesy commercial with low-brow humor made to cater to 7-year-olds.

Nude shoes give the illusion of longer legs, but you have to realize that it does that only when you’re showing a significant amount of skin above your feet. If you wear cropped pants, nude shoes won’t help much with this illusion. In the winter time, I rarely wear nude shoes because I wear a lot of dark washed jeans and tights. It makes sense to pair your bottoms with similar shaded shoes (dark pants with black shoes) to give the look of continuity = longer legs.If you need extra help with the leg department, you could also wear high waisted anything.

This doesn’t mean that I don’t wear nude shoes in the winter at all. I do so when it’s warm enough not to wear socks. I like pairing my nudies with bare feet. I just do. Nude shoes make my feet feel delicate, especially paired with such a heavy bottom (badump!).

Here’s a photo of me from 2013 on a casual summer day wearing a muscle tee with nude/beige strappy heels and a dumb fedora hat you will never ever see me wear ever again. I don’t even know why I owned it. Other people look great with fedoras, but it doesn’t look right on me..
