My Christmas Bucket List

In the countdown to my 23rd Australian summer Christmas, I've spent many hours wandering what it would be like to sit down to a warm glass of mulled wine instead of a glass of sparkling champagne, or get warm in front of a fire while it's snowing outside rather than trying to cool down at the beach. To at partially satisfy my wanderlust, I've created my ultimate Christmas destination bucket list. Now to pick out the perfect Christmas jumper!

Germany

I would love to wander the many Christmas markets, sipping mulled wine, eating Stollen, and looking for the perfect glass ornaments.

For the amazing Christmas markets, classical music concerts on New Year's, and the strudel obviously!

To experience some of the best Christmas shopping in the world, surrounded by the whole city filled with Christmas lights. Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is another big drawcard.

Ice-skating in Rockefeller Plaza underneath one of the most famous Christmas trees in the world!

Finland

Visiting Santa at home! Meeting Rudolf and his pals is an added bonus. Seeing the Northern Lights would be the cherry on top.

There will always be Christmas at home, spent cooling down at the beach, sipping champagne, with a good old pavlova for dessert!
