Je t'aime Paris pt.7

Another iconic and historic church: the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris or better known as the Sacré-Cœur. In my past visits to Paris I have never visited the church so this time I was really looking forward to going especially after seeing the church from a far. The church is a picturesque beauty. The architecture, the views from the domes and even the crypt were all captivating. It was a pity that there was no photography inside as the inside was even more alluring than the outside.
Montmartre, where the church is located is also adorned with lots of tourist shops so it is very busy but if you like shopping then it's definitely a bonus.
Our next stop was La Défense to view the Grand Arche and the sky scrapers of Paris. If you see from my Arc de Triomphe post (here), you could actually see the Arche and the buildings from the top of the Arc. I have also never been to this part of the city before so it was very interesting for me to see the actual city looking part of the city with the modern buildings and their big bright lights.
