Je t'aime Paris pt.8
(Outfit: top & skirt - H&M, kimono - New Look, bag - Primark, shoes - River Island, necklace - Topshop) (Locations: Pont de Bir-Hakeim, Tour Eiffel, Statue of Liberty, Montparnasse Tower)
Have you ever seen Inception because if you have then this bridge should look familiar to you. Bir Hakeim is one of the locations in the Oscar nominated film. It is also one (if not only) of the bridges with direct view of the Eiffel from the metro (overground) that passes right above it.
That was one of the places we visited on the 8th day but first it was a visit to the Parisian Statue of Liberty. A maybe not so known fact, the Statue of Liberty was actually originally created in Paris and the original can still be found in the city in Jardin du Luxembourg. But what we visited on this day was another replica of the Statue, a much more downsized one to that of NYCs.
Afterwards, a cruise along the Seine and a walk towards Champ de Mars for a break with ice cream under the sun and the Eiffel behind our backs.
When night fell, we headed towards Montparnasse to view the city of lights in all it's glory. Photos can only show so much and I hope they show enough why this city is considered one of the most beautiful and why it was given it's title 'City of Lights'.
