Decorated Journal - Kid Craft

This craft was pretty simple and self explanatory. We just used composition notebooks (you can find them at Target for less than a dollar in the school supplies or at dollar stores other times of the year). Then I let my daughter choose a bunch of papers and embellishments that were on sale or clearance at Michael’s.

We mod podged the paper onto the front and back covers. My daughter chose Disney colors and wants to use hers on our trip to record what we do each day. Then she just embellished it however she wanted to.

These would be cute to use for “Mommy and Me” Journals. If you haven’t heard of those this is where you and your child can write notes back and forth as often as you like. I love going to my room and finding her journal on my bed. It’s a great way to keep track of some memories we’d otherwise forget.

I didn’t create this one. You can go here to get the free printable for the cover shown above if you want to get started right away!

To see the invitation for craft camp and the other crafts the girls did go here. This post is from asprinkleofthis.blogspot.com.
