Picture Polish Holiday over a fun and girly gradient

Sorry for the late post, but today was the SV restock, and I got caught up on shipping. This is getting easier now. On that note, as much as I love the "nail polish world", I'll probably have to take a break from it >.< I'll post the dates on Sunday, after I figure it out. Most likely, the blog will 'take one for the team', because it's always the one that 'gets put on the back burner'.

A couple of weeks ago, I was mentioning how I disliked sponge gradients. Yet, I still want to keep practicing until I get it down. You, my lovely readers, will have to endure some more of these :) I mean, it's not too bad, I guess, but if you really look at it closely, it seems that I overdid it on the clean-up portions.

This Picture Polish inspired me to do something cute and girly. I wanted to love this, and I wanted to love this topper, but I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it seems that it just doesn't have enough flakies, and on the other hand, it looked way better on the bottle than on the nails. As always, I will have to try other layering combinations.

Layering Order:
2 coats Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud
Sponge twice with: Illamasqua Noble, American Apparel Neon Pink and Nails Inc Bond Street
1 coat Picture Polish Holiday
