updaaaate!!


Week 5, Day 1--Monday, June 30

I haven't kept you guys updated on what I've been doing--fitness wise. Which is a lot, a lot. I am in Week 5 of a weight lifting plan/program and I am never not sore or tired. I've taken a small break from marathon training until September, but I'm still running regularly. I'm definitely planning on doing the half again this fall, maybe the full.

But for now I'm back on giving you your daily dose of whining and long winded fitness ramblings. And some selfies here and there.

Details--

  • dynamic warm up
  • chest and back at the gym ab program
  • 1.5 miles on the treadmill—with an embarrassingly slow time

  • So far this is the longest stretch I’ve gone of lifting weights. I did weekly strength training back when I was training for my half marathon last fall, see more of that here. But it falls dramatically short compared to how often, how heavy and the level of intensity I’m doing now.

    I literally crawl from the gym to the car, and then to bed.
