Review | Organic Root Stimulator - Fertilizing Serum

Organic Root Stimulator - Fertilizing Serum | £4.84 (amazon)
"Organic Root Stimulator Fertilizing Serum is a nutrientrich serum that exfoliates the scalp, stimulates circulation and nourishes emerging hair shafts. The Serum is rich with vitamins and amino acids, created to exfoliate and increase lipid production and balance hair-growth stunting DHT hormones." - Organic Root Stimulator

Hey Honeybees

I have quite thin hair and always have, but in recent years it has gotten a little thinner on the crown area. I've been trying a lot of natural products and thought I'd give the fertilising serum a trial as it's herbal and shouldn't irritate my scalp.
This does smell a little 'herbal-esque' but I like it. The colour of the liqiud is quite muted and doesn't stain, however it does discolour the dipper a little (second picture), the liquid is wet rather than oily and leaves almost no residue after drying. It doesn't tingle or anything so that could be a positive for some people.
I really love that this comes with a dipper as it makes specific application a lot easier. The mild scent is subtle which is great as you can cover it up whatever hair products in your usual routine. The direction state to massage the serum into the scalp which is great for blood circulation as well as creating good habits. However, the serum doesn't specify whether to use other products (I do). It has good ingredients (from what I gather) and I haven't experienced any adverse effects, however, don't expect immediate results as it takes 6-8 weeks. I have noticed the thinning areas have been reduced and I have quite a bit of new growth (short hairs) so I would definitely recommend this. It is great value for money for the amount of product that you receive. Available from Amazon, £4.84 (here).
