November 2014 Beauty Favorites & Fails + Video!

November was a pretty exciting month for me I must admit. We found out we finally get to move onto our next base- & it was one we wanted! I’m prepping to travel to California in January for both IMATS & quality family time. It has been bitterly cold but lacking snow- less work for us! I’ve also come upon some awesome new products, some older favorites, & just lots of beauty finds all around.

I bought it. PR sample. Affiliate links.

I’m a big fan of changing up my look which can be seen all over the blog. I tend to bounce from rainbow eyes to neutral & back again. Everything is pretty so why not give it a shot right? With the recent 20% off beauty sales & such I’ve also picked up some new items. & there are way more I haven’t even shared on the blog yet- so that is something to look forward to! Besides the lip colors, I wouldn’t say these items scream fall which is fine with me.

Here is my video talking about all these favorites- can you tell how excited I am? Ah I love favorites! Please remember to subscribe to me on Youtube- I REALLY appreciate it!

Let me start with some seriously stunning eye products because…they’re just so darn pretty! I just reviewed & showed off a favorite eye look from the Smashbox Master Class Volume 3 Palette (full review here)…& if you caught it then you saw this one coming as a favorite! Another Smashbox favorite is the Smashbox Photo Op Cherry Smoke Eyeshadow Palette (full review here) which is absolutely stunning. It breaks my heart that it is limited edition honestly- I’d purchase this shade selection over & over again. Lorac Lustre Drops are just so gorgeous- I can’t even get over them. Check out my full review of this limited edition set here but the two shades I have shown here are Opal & Rose Quartz. I also had to break out my Tarte Limited Edition Amazonian Clay Dual Liner in Black/Bronze (full review here) because I just keep loving it- the bronze side even more this month. This is still available from Sephora so I urge you check it out! This Lord & Berry Sparkle Black Mini Eyeliner is my only fail- I break down why in the video above.

Face products are always some of my favorites but I am getting pickier & pickier. Dry skin can make things really difficult. Becca kind of blew my mind this month but I chose to only share my Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight in Opal which gives the most stunning glow. My Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette made a big reappearance this month as well. I’d been trying out some new powders last month but nothing is quite as beautiful for setting my undereyes. Sleek is really taking up a big new space in my collection & the Sleek Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette in Light is my new favorite. The textures have really surprised me & I’m sure more Sleek items will be popping up soon! For my ridiculous undereye circles the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles in Brightening has been perfection. Because I’ve been going for a more natural look on my skin the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation (full review here) & the Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream have been my go to options.

Lip products are easily some of my favorite to change out seasonally. Darker hues & moisturization are the two things that likely change the quickly. The NYX Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake & Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 in Berry are the two easiest to wear with lots of hydration & comfort. Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Sangria & Butter London Lippy Moisture Matte Lipstick in Ruby Murray (full review here) are perfect vampy shades that just feel so fall. Two glosses that have me reaching for more will both be reviewed on the blog soon in sets- Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Pink Spirit & Lorac Lip Lustre Creme Lip Gloss in Reign.

Last but not least we have some of my polish favorites & a fragrance I’m seriously obsessed with. With the Sephora sale, I finally bought a full size of the Nest Midnight Fleur perfume I just can’t get enough of. If you haven’t given this a whiff yet- it is definitely time! To keep my hands soft I’ve been reaching for my L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream which is really luxe & rich. I’ve had some really bad allergies & been sick off & on so the neutral scent is perfect- you can see some of my other favorites from the L’Occitane Shea line here. For nails…I just keep wearing Orly Mirrorball & Orly Bling. I seriously can’t stop- they’re so holo & gorgeous from their new collection which I’ve yet to review. I’ve only worn KB Shimmer Pine-ing for Yule as an accent so far because I still need to do swatches but…who doesn’t want a Christmas tree polish? This is EVERYTHING!

So what were your favorites for November? Any products here speak to you? Anything you’d like to see more of?
