Zodiac Inspired Make Up: January Capricorn

I posted about a fantastic new make up tag I would be taking part in with Fiona which involves interpreting the different Zodiac sign in the form of make up. This month was Capricorn and these are the photos to show you how I interpreted it. My hair was still a tad damp when these photos were taken and a tad rushed to try and get the best lighting also, which was why I forgot to apply liner across my lashes. Oops.

A Capricorn is half goat half fish. So I wanted to focus mainly on the goat but add that element of fish/water, which is why I chose to lightly dust my cheeks with blue.

As you can see, I took this idea a bit literal and tried to emphasize a goat features, using a lot of bronze and highlighting.

I seriously enjoyed doing this tag. Of course this isn't a look I would wear out. But I do get a bit bored sometimes doing normal make up looks and this gives you a chance to be really creative and interpret something and give it your edge. All of the entries looked completely different and I think that's what makes this tag!
