Canola Fields in Boorowa, NSW

To welcome the start of spring, we spent a Sunday driving to the Southern Highlands searching for canola fields. The 7 hour drive (to and fro) from Sydney was spent mostly on the highway; driving past wide green fields, canola wildflowers growing by the roadside, and the occasional cherry blossom tree. We stopped by Yass to take a few pictures of the lovely flowers and historic buildings, then continued on to Boorowa. Standing in a canola field watching the sunset is a tremendously heavenly way of starting off spring (I would recommend doing this at least once in your life if you haven’t). It feels like summer even though it’s only the beginning of spring, and I intend to make the most of this warm weather and golden sunshine by staying outside, taking photos and finding more beautiful places to explore.
