1. When did you begin quilting?

I started making my first quilt when I was 15 to have to use in college. My paternal grandmother hand stitched the quilt for me; it was the last quilt that she quilted. Making that quilt spanned over a year and was completed in 1996. I made several more and received my first sewing machine as a Christmas gift in 1999, but my quilting really took off in 2008 after years of not sewing.
