WHO IS CAIT MARIE? I’m a three-part hybrid of artist, businesswoman, and regular-dresser. As a writer, fashion inspires me. The sentiment attached to a particular article of clothing or the symbolism within a fashion editorial make for great stories. As a stylist, fashion is part of my livelihood. Having worked in retail and wholesale and working as a stylist have taught me that fashion is more than just creativity, it’s a business. As a wearer of clothing, fashion is a necessity. Despite my fascination with fashion, there are many days I approach my closet with the classic dilemma: “I’ve got nothing to wear.” NOW, ASK YOURSELF: Do you enjoy fashion as wearable art?
