I first viewed Meri on the runway at 'The Curvy Couture Roadshow', i absolutely loved their show and was super excited when they reached out to me. Their brand helps bring one aspect that lacks in the plus size offering within Australia, which is the use of quality fabrics such as silks. Their pieces all have a slightly boho, whimsical aesthetic with lots of draping, perfect for the Australian summer months ahead!
I styled this maxi with a pleather waist tie from an old coat, to break up the print. The dress does come with a gorgeous matching waist tie, but as my waist is the smallest part of my frame i do like to accentuate this area where possible and the solid black does help achieve that.
In further news, i am now 27! That's 27 full years on planet earth! Wow, time sure does fly!
