Bath Time is #SoMuchMore

I have a small activity for you. Go to your bathroom or your kids’ room and look at the products you use. I bet you all have some kind of Johnson & Johnson product somewhere. We can’t live without them. So you know I was pumped to selected as one of JOHNSON’S Council of influencers for the year. Then I was whisked away to New York City for the launch of Johnson’s Baby #SoMuchMore campaign.

Do you see me all up on Johnson’s Baby celebrity ambassador, Jennifer Hudson? I did get all STAN on Jennifer. We are both from Chicago so I figured she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Jennifer was super cool (and skinny). She talked about how becoming a mother changed her and how she juggles it all. She even talked about how she has anxiety that her son would be left at the bus stop. I have the same fear that I will forget to pick up Peyton one day. Jennifer was very down to earth and helping other babies and kids is near and dear to her heart.

Day two, after visiting YouTube and Google (who give all employees free lunch everyday), we headed to the #SoMuchMore media event hosted by Lisa Ling. Lisa moderated a panel of experts, discussing how bath time is #SoMuchMore than what we thing. Bath time is a time to engage, skin contact, memory and cognitive development. Johnson’s Baby lotion is the universal smell of “Baby”. You can’t tell me that when you get a whiff of that pink baby lotion it doesn’t bring back memories of bath time with your child.

Johnson’s found one of the cutest babies ever (after Peyton) for this adorable commercial.

Bath time with Peyton is still very important to me. It’s our time to catch up with pre-K current events, talk about family, and cuddle time before bed. If she doesn’t get a bath, our night don’t go to smoothly. I think we take for granted how important bath time is for a baby’s development. How do you make bath time #SoMuchMore?
