Feeling Good with Romeo-Together with Housing.com

My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep ;the more I give to thee, The more I have ,for both are infinite. (Romeo and Juliet ,2.2)
I have three boys. One who refuses to grow up, one who is growing up too fast and one who does not know if he is man or dog.
He is a pedigreed Lhasa Also , from a Sikkimese Llamas brood ,lovingly presented to hubby dear.

He sits on which ever chair the master vacates.
Or sofa.
Or couch.
Or dining chair.
He eats what he wants to eat. Grudgingly from his bowl ,happily from our hands. His favorite food should be tinged with blood. It is not. The aroma of a cake in the oven ,or stir fried potatoes of fresh toasted bread slathered with butter gets his attention even in the deepest of his slumber.
The car keys jangling from the master's hands and the word Chalo ensures his jumping eagerness wherein he displays the springs attached to his feet.
He has been blessed with a beautiful silken coat and his country cousins have never spent any time indoors ,however he adores sitting in front of the heater on a soft blanket. He hates sharing any attention that is due to him. Ever.
Even sweet child agrees that Romeo must have done something good in his last life.
He lives his life king size.
Someone to feed him, groom him ,tickle him love him...and absolutely nothing to do but bark.

My boys -happiness
Last year this time, when the exams had just finished and the children were suddenly free ,hubby dear decided to take a few days off to spend time with sweet child at home.
One rainy morning when I had no choice but to go to work in school ,both father and son decided to go for a long drive.
Fortunately, they left sweet dog Romeo home.
The rain gods went on a spate of rain and hail and the two who had gone to have tea with the in-laws in Shimla had no choice but to stay the night there.

So when I trudged home after driving at less than 20 kmph through pouring rain and opened up the house ,the only one who was happy to see me always-Sweet dog Romeo.
Gracefully he steps down from his throne...the sofa ...and he comes wagging his tail to welcome me.
Happy to see me.
Its a sentiment we share...he never bothers to welcome anyone else.
An empty house is probably the worst thing to ever come into. That evening was miserable for the electricity went off too and the incessant rains made everything dull and gloomy.
My standard dinner of toast and coffee didn't see inviting, either.
But that was one time when Romeo just walked like my shadow. He sat with me when I read in the candle light. He munched on butter less toast. And was happy to go and ease himself less than 100 meters from my front door.
He understood.
He snuggled up to me when I sat on the couch to work in the
Light of the emergency lamp.
He knew I was alone and I needed the love and affection.
Silently.
Unconditionally.
That one night was so easy to pass thanks to Romeo. Just a silent reminder that #Together is all that is needed even if the companion is your pet.
Next morning hubby dear and sweet child returned happy to be home.

Home.
A little togetherness brings so much optimism -just like Housing.com bringing families and loved ones together.
