PASTEL PIRATE.

Vivien of Holloway is a brand I am head over heels in love with so when Hannah (from VOH) contacted me I was over the moon. A few days of eagerly waiting and this beautiful pirate halter neck dropped through my letter box. Thank you so much Hannah and Vivien for sending me something so beautiful.

I was expecting something beautiful (from the photos on the website) but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on with just how perfect it is. The thick halter neck looks great and hides that 'underarm boob' thing that I hate in halter necks; plus the sweetheart cut just makes my chest look amazing. The shape its self is perfect for me (like a glove) the clinched wasp-waist shows off my awesome pin up curves. So obviously had to be paired with my tightest of pencil skirts and kept casual with my sneakers.
Someone commented on a VOH facebook post saying that the swing dresses where perfect for weddings because "you don't have to wear a bra"- I wanted to test this theory and after 10 years I finally went bra less comfortably. In fact I will never wear a bra with this- and coming from someone as ample chested as I that's an amazing thing.
So really this top is the best of both worlds- beautiful and comfortable. I want about 20 more. Jodie x
P.s. a little note on sizing. Vivien of Holloway are in vintage sizes so check the size guide before poo ordering. Its also important to note that the halter neck tops and dresses are lightly boned- so offer a little extra support. So if you're between sizes around the waist I would recommend sizing down if possible (I have a dress in the larger size and it doesn't fit as comfortably).
