Rouge Dior Nude 663 Guipure Review Swatches Photos
In my last post I had mentioned my sudden mood change and love for neutral lipsticks. I am so much into neutral lipsticks that sometimes I have to literally stop myself from picking another nude lipstick. This is my second and last purchase (of last year) of another neutral shade in my stash. I saw Rouge Dior Nude 663 Guipure sometime back at Sephora but the shade was out of stock, then I hunted this shade at Dior counters & sephoras but couldn’t get hold of it. Last month when during my Dubai Visit I picked this shade from Delhi Duty Free. This is my first purchase from this brand.
Shade - Rouge Dior Nude 663 Guipure is a pink-brown shade with hints of plum. Most of my neutral lipsticks have more brown in them than pink, however Guipure is more pink leaning towards plum. Its such a pretty shade and instantly brightens up my complexion. Its a universally flattering color in my opinion.
Texture & Formula – Texture of Dior Guipure is balmy and formula is highly moisturizing. It almost feels like melting on the lips while you apply it. For my dry lips it feels like a blessing. I suffer from flaky lips during coder months and I always look out for moisturising formulas. Color doesn’t settle in lip lines. Finish is creamy.
Pigmentation - Formula of Dior Nude 663 is semi-sheer and needs 3-4 swipes to give opaque finish. It does cover the darkness my upper lip has and evens out the lip color. The color will look darker or pinker based on the natural color of lips.
Staying Power – Due to its sheer and creamy texture, Dior Nude 663 stays on for 3 hours.
Overall Thought
I love the shade and formula of Dior Nude 663. Guipure is a shade that will compliment any skintone. It keeps lips moisturized throughout the wear and doesn’t settle in fine lines. I am surely looking forward to collect more shades from this range.
