November Favourites

Where has November gone? It seems like yesterday when we were getting into our Halloween spirit and now Christmas is right around the corner. Before we get deep into gift guides and such, it is still November so it's now time for Sami's November favourites.

During this month I had a little skin issue with my hands. Without going into the gory details, I'd had some sort of reaction which resulted in very dry hands and I tried almost everything to get them back to normal. I remembered that I had my trusty Lush Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion in a drawer so I applied this at night with some moisturising gloves and it really made a difference. If you have any sensitive skin conditions I'd definitely recommend you give it a try.

Something that I've been using non stop this month is the Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner, so much that I haven't even had a chance to write about it. The shampoo is very easy to wash out of your hair and the conditioner even more so. It's been so popular in my household that the bottles are actually now empty. I don't think I've ever finished a conditioner at the same rate as shampoo so that's pretty impressive on it's own. It also smells like those Original Source shower gels so it definitely wakes me up in the mornings!

Also from the same brand, the Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Serum is another favourite for this month. I spoke more in depth about it in my review but if you suffer from frizz or are looking for a lightweight hair serum, it's definitely one to check out.

Over the past year I've really tried to improve my sleep schedule. Gone are the days of going to bed at 4am, going to bed at midnight and waking up early has made me feel a whole lot better. However, occasionally I do have some trouble settling down and getting a full nights sleep. Recently I've been trialing the This Works Sleep Plus Pillow Spray from their Sleep Plus Challenge where you can get free samples of the spray and try for yourself. Using a few sprays before bed I can honestly say I've never had a better sleep. I have no idea how it works but it definitely makes a difference.

That is all my November favourites! December has came around very quickly and we've been hard at work preparing our gift guides and more so make sure you tune in next month.
