Today I wanted to wear one of the new Renaissance Cosmetics polishes, Sugar And Spice, from the Valentine's Day duo set (I'll probably put on the other shade tomorrow!). This is described as a "sweet glitter topper with satin white and rose holo glitter, with light gold micro flakies, and multichrome flakies. Part of our Valentine’s Day duo, but perfect year round!" I completely agree! Unlike some other V-Day inspired polishes that tend to be pink on pink on pink, sprinkled in hearts... Sugar And Spice is like a neutral glitter with a pop of rose. Very versatile, I actually couldn't decide which shade to wear as a base color, they all seemed so gorgeous.

I finally chose to go with Zoya Paloma as my base color, a jelly sheer raspberry shade. I only applied one coat because I wanted it to be a tint of color. Then I applied one generous coat of Sugar And Spice, which was very easy to get all the glitter goodness without fishing around. Finished off with the Perfect Formula Gel Coat, and my trusty Essence Express Dry Drops.

I love the "jelly sandwich" effect, and the sheer raspberry base color is so fresh and pretty underneath Sugar And Spice - it's got a refreshing Spring vibe to it!
