Black jeans look

Vanaf nu kan je de kleur van je jeansbroek afstemmen op de kleur van je nagels. Of omgekeerd. Niet nieuw natuurlijk, want Chanel kwam enkele seizoenen geleden al op de markt met soortgelijke lakjes. 2B Cosmetics brengt ons nu de budget-versie van deze trend. De jeans look collectie bestaat uit 3 verschillende kleuren (blue, grey en black), een nieuw, groter flesje én een beter borsteltje.

From now on you can match the colour of your jeans to the colour of your nails. Or vice versa. Been there, done that? Absolutely – Chanel invented similar polishes a few seasons ago. But 2B Cosmetics brings us the budget version of this trend. The jeans look collection consists of three different colors (blue, gray and black), a new, larger bottle and a better brush.

Ik ging aan de slag met de zwarte variant en inderdaad: het nieuwe 2B borsteltje werkt veel fijner dan zijn voorganger en na twee laagjes heb je een perfecte dekking. Een handige tip: gebruik geen top coat bij deze lakjes, zo gaat het effect van de jeans look (mat in plaats van glanzend) wat verloren.

I went to work with the black version, and indeed: the new 2B brush works much better than its predecessor, and after two coats you have a perfect coverage. A useful tip: do not use a top coat with these nail polishes, you will ruin the jeans look effect (matte instead of glossy).
