Who’s got their mani’s all set for Halloween tomorrow?!
I like to do nail art for Halloween itself (which I’m planning to share tomorrow!) but in the days leading up, I love wearing vampy, pumpkin-y, ghoulish polishes and manis, too!
I was researching on the Pahlish site, because I discovered the brand at the Sparkle & Wine event held in conjunction with the Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas beauty trade show this summer in July – and I was planning a review post on the polish that I received (review is coming!) While on the site, I couldn’t help but pick up a few things, including one of the brand’s Bespoke Batch polishes, Pumpkin Parade.
Bespoke Batches, according to the website, are single-batch polishes. What’s made the first time, is the last time! So when you see something you like, you gotta grab it!
I grabbed Pumpkin Parade JUST in time, because I don’t see it on the site anymore!
Pumpkin Parade is a beautiful, opaque and vampy purple jelly that’s packed with square orange glitter, hex green glitter, and small green glitters. Check it out:
You can see tip wear on my mani because I didn’t wrap the tips or put top coat on them; I used OPI Glitter Off Base Coat so I could peel this glitter polish off when I was done vs. the acetone/foil method I usually do. Note to self: Next time, wrap the tips and worry about it later!
I wore this mani when I went to Creamy Acres Night of Terror (in southern NJ) with my husband, brother-in-law and his fiance, who is also a good friend! It was a perfectly Halloween mani for a perfectly frightful night!
I was pleased that I didn’t have any staining on my nails when I took this off!
Did you pick up Pumpkin Parade?! What do you think of it? I am keeping my eyes on Pahlish Bespoke Batches from now on!
