Nanshy Masterclass With Barrie G

I recently attended a makeup masterclass at Kryolan in Covent Garden to watch the incredible celebrity makeup artist Barrie Griffith create two looks using Nanshy brushes. Of course I was excited to go as I have loved and boasted about this brand since receiving them earlier this year, they’ve been in my monthly favourites and featured in most videos.

I hadn’t had the chance to use the eye set so watching Barrie work his magic with them was inspiring and the finished looks were breath-taking. My favourite has to be the 70s inspired look above which I will certainly be re-creating, he said he was inspired by his client and Nanshy fan Bianca Jagger!

Nanshy is a completely vegan friendly line, nothing is tested on animal and all the hairs are synthetic and 100% cruelty free. I have favoured the face brushes over my MAC ones and found none of them have shed so far unlike the expensive brands. They’ve also just launched the Nanshy sponge to rival the beauty blender, I haven’t tried it just yet but the pointed tip seems ideal for small areas.

I can’t wait to get creating this look for you using the same brushes and technique as Barrie did, oh and did I mention he used these on THE Diane Von Furstenberg which she was in London recently? there you go.
