Tuesday Tunes: Living the Dream

I heard this song on the radio and HAD to use it as my Tuesday Tunes. At work when people ask me how I'm doing, I'll often say, "I'm living the dream!" While I'd love to tell you that I'm being honestly enthusiastic, the truth is often I'm just a) hyped up on Starbucks and/or b) being sarcastic. Hmmm....

But when I think of all the things I have which I often don't appreciate, I truly am living the dream. I am Canadian! How awesome is that!? And I am healthy and fit. I don't have to wonder where my next meal is coming from because I have an abundance of food not to mention clothing and a pretty decent place to live. I have not one job but two. My wonderful parents are still alive and live close by. My sister and her family lives even closer. My cousins and aunts and uncles are true treasures. I have amazing friends and co-workers who put up with me whether I’m crying or laughing so hard I snort (not my most attractive quality) .

Money can't buy this stuff. So yes, I am living the dream. Are you? Think about it…
