The Block All-Stars' Bedrooms

Do you watch the TV show The Block? I have been watching
it since the very first episode aired back in 2003 and I have to
say it just keeps getting better and better each year. Last night's
episode saw the three all stars (contestants from previous years)
battle it out for the one remaining spot on The Block and oh boy,
it would have been tough for the judges to decide on a winning
room. All three were outstanding and I personally would have
loved to see all three get in, but it's a TV show and that's not
how it works unfortunately. Matt and Kim's bedroom (above) was
a real standout for me. I personally loved all of the mouldings
on the walls (they really gave the room some architectural detail)
and the overall colour palette and decor choices. I've decided to
base my next bedroom on this one! Even though Matt and
Kim didn't win with this room, it's a winner in my eyes!

And another gorgeous room! This one (above) designed by
crowd-favourites Bec and George. I was completely wowed
by the beautiful parquetry flooring, the stormy sky artwork
and bronze mirror wardrobe, seriously sophisticated right?!
It was hard for the judges to fault this one, and you can see why.

And lastly, here is the winning room designed by Dea and Darren
(pictured above). What I love about this room is the softness to
it. I just want to jump in that bed and laze about all day. The soft
pastel pink and blue cushions add just the right amount of colour
to this room, along with those striking pendant lights. As always
Dea's styling is perfection - that woman knows how to style a bed!
