MAY CHALLENGE



It was hard to find a new worthy challenge for this month. Not drinking alcohol turned out to be a piece of cake. Ignoring coffee was a different story, but I did it (except for two cups, but who cares). It was surprising for a hermit like me to realize how many times I had to say NO to people who offered me a drink. Apparently I leave my house more than I used to think.
Anyway, April 2013 is gone forever. But so is not my enthusiasm for becoming a better version of myself.

May 2013 will be my healthy month.

After reading the first 50 pages of Kimberly Snyder's The Beauty Detox Foods I found out that I only eat crap. It's not that I have to lose any weight but "having a youthful, glowing skin, lustrous hair and feeling energized" sounds good, n'est-ce pas?
No french fries, no ice-cream, no pizza, no burgers, no everything-that-tastes-delicious... You get it, there will only be room for the boring food in my stomach. With the aim to not finding it drab anymore.
My soul will be on a highway to hell.
Luckily there are over 85 delicious recipes in the book. There is "miracle gluten-free vegan pizza dough", "gluten-free vegan lasagna supreme", "portobello mushroom burger", "raw gorilla taco wraps "and even "raw coconut macaroons". I won't miss a single thing. Score!
