New Year's Resolutions for the Blog

I'm not used to write down new year's resolutions but during these holidays I was thinking about my blog. Lots of thinking. It's been more than 5 years that I'm blogging now and it's time for changes. I need them.
1. Quality over Quantity I know, groundbreaking. But since you're used to find a post a day and every day on my blog I think I should be quite satisfied with the quantity in here. I'm happy with showing you a post a day since that's what I always wish to find on my favourite blogs. A new fresh post every day. But sometimes I should rethink my blog schedule and maybe post something more elaborated too.
2. More writing I love writing. But as I already said before (while I might not be totally satisfied with some other issues of my mother country) I feel totally comfortable with writing in my mother language. I love writing. And I love writing in Italian. It has been my job for years. But sometimes I feel helpless with translating long texts into English. Or two write everything two times. But I also feel so guilty with you non Italian readers when I don't do it. So that's something that I have to figure out in 2015, more writing in English as well. Or maybe a lovely translator, ha! (no, google I'm not talking about you).
3. A little bit more... me And when there's more writing on the blog than there's more me on the blog. That goes together. So while I'm still not planning tons of personal outfits here I'm really looking forward to some more chatting with you. A little bit more mess going on in here. More and different topics? Who knows? Let's see.
4. Blog Makeover The time has come. Over the years I made small changes in my blog layout. But now I feel it's time for BIG changes. I still have no idea when a new design layout will be ready but I'm sure this will be the year!
5. Being inspirational What won't change on my blog are my inspirational posts. My fashion bloggers and street style collages are my signature posts. I still find them inspirational, I hope you feel the same.

Non sono solita fare buoni proprositi per il nuovo anno ma durante queste vacanze di Natale ho pensato molto al blog. Dopo più di 5 anni di blogging è tempo di bilanci, di cambiamenti. Soprattutto di novità. Altrimenti rischiamo di annoiarci tutti. Io per prima. Perciò durante l'anno sono in programma alcuni piccoli grandi cambiamenti
1. Qualità vs quantintà Più qualità meno quantità. Certo, ovvio. Però devo auto-elogiarmi perché anche con la quantità non sono andata troppo male col blog. Trovate un post al giorno qui. Da anni. Il che non è poi così ovvio. Cercherò di mantenere questo standard anche se a volte potrei sentire la voglia di qualche post più elaborato, un racconto più lungo magari a scapito di post anche nel weekend. Vedremo.
2. Scrivere, scrivere, scrivere Ribadisco: amo scrivere. E' stato, è ancora il mio lavoro. Ma per scrivere serve tempo. Tempo. Calma. Idee. E probabilmente anche un allegro traduttore per la parte in inglese. A volte mi blocco nello scrivere testi più lunghi in italiano perché so che poi dovrò tradurli anche in inglese. Il che significa scrivere tutto due volte. Alcuni post non li ho tradotti affatto in inglese (con grossi grassi sensi di colpa verso i miei lettori dall'estero). Quest'anno dovrò cercare ditrovare una soluzione.

3. Un po' più di me E se ci sarà più scrittura ci sarà più me qui. Non ho intenzione di pubblicare 30 outfit di foto personali al mese. Però di raccontarvi più di me, di parlare con voi. Vorrei una ventata di vita vera qui dentro.
4. Blog Makeover In questi anni il blog ha subito alcune modifiche nella grafica. Tutto sommato piccole modifiche. Questo sento che sarà l'anno dei big cambiamenti in fatto di grafica. Ne sento il bisogno. Non ho ancora idea di quando saranno pronti. Ma prima o poi potrò annunciare di avere una nuova (bellissima, spero) cornice per i miei post.
4. Essere d'ispirazione Ciò che non cambierà sarà la mia volontà di darvi post d'ispirazione. Quella spero non mancherà. Con i post a collage che sono il mio segno di riconoscimento. Ma anche in altre modalità.
