Skinny Jeans… Literally.

Happy Monday! Hope you had a lovely weekend. It finally started to feel like spring yesterday (50 degrees!!) and I was on CLOUD NINE. So let’s hope that sticks around!

I posted a little teaser about these jeans on Instagram last night because I just couldn’t wait to share them! They’re the most flattering skinny jeans I’ve worn… Seriously! And there’s a chance for you to win a pair at the end of this post.

DL1961 is a premium denim brand that started in New York City in 2008. Needless to say, I love the brand’s NYC heritage! I’d been hearing about DL1961 denim more frequently over the last few months, but I had never gotten around to trying them out. (If you’re anything like me, jean shopping usually isn’t the funnest of occasions and typically ends in me wanting to go to the gym for three days straight.) Anyways, it was perfect timing when Meghan reached out to me and asked if I would team up with her to do a little giveaway with DL1961. My coworker was raving about the brand just the day before so I happily obliged!

When I was flipping through the DL1961 website, I was majorly intrigued by their Instasculpt collection. I think it’s safe to say we all have a few pounds we wish didn’t exist, right? Right. While all of their spring collection looked fabulous, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a pair of their Florence skinny jeans. I went went the Byron color and I couldn’t be happier!

For starters, I feel like the color is perfect! The little-bit-lighter shade of blue is great for the warmer weather that’s on the horizon, but it can definitely be worn year round. (Heck, I wear white jeans when there’s snow on the ground so I think almost everything is appropriate year-round these days.)

However, if you’re in the market for a super spring-y pair of jeans, you have to check out this floral pair. I am in L-O-V-E. White jeans and printed jeans have a tendency to widen your lower half, but this pair also happens to be in the Instasculpt material. Win, win!

I know I’ve gotten a few emails from readers asking about flattering white jeans (I know it can be tough!), and while I haven’t personally tried the DL1961 white denim yet, I would definitely recommend trying their white Instasculpt pair!

But the fit, you guys. The fit is the bomb.com! The perfect amount of stretch to suck you in, but it doesn’t leave you feeling restricted at all. So comfortable! And they truly don’t lose their shape!

Meghan also styled a pair of jeans from the spring collection… the Emma jeans! Be sure to head over to Wit & Whimsy to see her look, too. I think the Emma’s are my next pair!

But you don’t have to take our words for it because we’re both giving away a pair of DL1961 jeans! That’s right, Meghan will pick one winner and I will pick one winner. If you’re chosen, you’ll have your choice of denim from the New Arrivals. Make sure you enter below and also on Meghan’s post to double your chances of winning!

Oh, and lets talk sizing for a second because I know you’re wondering! I stuck with my normal denim size (27) for these. The Florence style is super stretchy so they fit perfectly. No sizing up required!
