The Body Shop Smoky Poppy

It’s all about the poppy for this new launch from The Body Shop, and if they’re not smoking them, they’re shimmering them. My obvious preference is for the make-up aspect of The Body Shop Smoky Poppy and first up is the Poppy Shimmer cube in pink. There’s also one in yellow, but I’d say you’d need to be a real adventurer for that one! As it is, there are some challenging shades in Pink Poppy. I love that the pigment made these beautiful clean swipes – I went once over only with a fingertip so it’s impressive pigment. You can use these wet or dry but I never think wet works as well as dry… and how pink can anyone want to go on the lid?! I really hope I get to see some looks done with this cube – I haven’t had time to experiment myself yet but it looks like it will create some exciting eyes! They’re £16 each. My next crush is the Poppy Inspired Blusher Brush (although there is no blush to go with it?! surely there was a chance to do a beautiful poppy flower blush?) purely for fun of it.
