My name is Aria Winston. I’ve fought desperately to escape the seedy underbelly of Las Vegas. Now I’m on my own, in control of my own life and my own destiny . . . just the way I like it. Until Sebastian Caine changes everything.
Working as a cocktail waitress at one of Vegas’s hottest five-star casinos means putting up with a ton of bad behavior from the big spenders. But it pays the bills—and that’s all that matters to Aria, who needs every last dollar to escape from her father’s destructive grasp and the brutal man he expects her to marry. But when she lashes out against a billionaire who won’t take no for an answer, she nearly loses everything—until Sebastian steps in. The owner’s son and handpicked successor, Sebastian is dark, sexy, and kinder than any rich man should be. And when he apologizes and offers to keep her job safe, Aria can’t help the way her body reacts to his. Suddenly her job, and the security it brings her, isn’t the only thing Aria wants.
If getting tangled up with her new boss is wrong, Aria doesn’t want to be right. Powerful men usually have a way of thinking they can take whatever they want while giving nothing back, but Sebastian is different. He’s gentle with her body. Rough in all the right places. And hot enough to make Aria break every last rule she’s set for herself. But with her history, it’ll take more than mind-blowing sex to heal the pain deep inside . . . no matter how good Sebastian’s intentions are. She’s spent her entire life fighting for control of her own life, and no one’s going to take that from her. But the more time she spends in Sebastian’s world, the deeper she’s drawn into his sensual games.

Review

I abso-freaking-lutely love love love Tracy Wolff. So, when I saw her new series, Play Me, on Netgalley, you can guarantee that I requested them! I was slightly disappointed that they were about 50 pages each, but each book is absolutely wonderful!

The first one, Play Me: Wild, basically introduces the main character, but leaves an air of mystery and lust that just makes you want to jump to the next book immediately. The books are in dual POV, both Sebastian and Aria, and I just love how I can view both sides instead of guessing what one person is thinking or feeling. There really isn’t any steam in the first book (though there is some warmth in the air, if you catch my meaning), but don’t give up on that early in the series. While an introductory book may sound boring, I assure you it is far from that.

The second book, Play Me: Hot, picks up right where the first book left off, only in a different POV ( and yes, it is still the same POVs), and the whole book is pretty much smut. Yep, that’s why I told you not to give up too early. It is, after all, considered erotica, and Tracy doesn’t disappoint. With hints of BDSM, this one goes from warm to setting your freaking kindle on fire. Whew!

I absolutely cannot wait to see how the rest of the series goes, because each one is better than the last. I have enjoyed this whirlwind romance so far, and I have no doubt in my mind that I have found a new favorite series. I only wish that all the books are in one, single, book so I don’t have to take breaks from them.

If you haven’t read any Tracy Wolff books yet, this is certainly a good series to start with. I also recommend her Ethan Frost novels.
