babies have hobbies too

Whenever Phoebe hears water running her little ears perk up and she quickly! quickly! changes directions and shifts gears into sprint-crawl mode to get herself to the bathroom as fast as possible. Her eyes glimmer with hope as she (obviously) wonders, "could it be? do I hear someone drawing a BATH?!"

life complete.

Theo does the same except he walks rather than crawls and he throws a nastier tantrum if he was merely hearing some boring old dishes being rinsed or a selfish parent daring to take a two minute shower.

I have to admit that the little kids take a lot of baths during the winter. A lot. It keeps them happy and entertained for quite a bit of time, they can be easily supervised, and they probably get bathed 29 times more in the winter than they do in the summer. You would be hard pressed to find two happier humans once they are set in their bubbly domain and would both bathe eleven times a day if I let them ...

maybe more.

Seriously, so happy!

Phoebe has earned herself the little nickname of "bully" for a reason and even professional bathers aren't perfect at their craft.

Anyway, as pictured above - we've recently made the happy discovery that is Mustela's {post sponsor!} Multi-Sensory bubble bath that does a phenomenal job of keeping their raisened little skin from drying out during their favorite pastime and a little tiny bit goes a very long way even with Theo draining some water, adding some water, draining some more water, and adding some more water again.

look at that product placement. does your mom blog, kind sir?

I've blogged about my love for Mustela's foam shampoo (cradle cap killer!) many times before so it's not surprising how much I love every other Mustela product I've tried. I'm dipping my bump into their prenatal line and testing the waters with their Double Action Stretch Mark Cream (so far, so good! but I know it's still early so I'll keep you posted) and have this postpartum delight ready for action when July comes whipping around the swimsuit bend.

Theo is vehemently opposed and potentially allergic to me putting anything on his chapped little (face) cheeks lately so the Hydra-stick with Cold Cream has been perfect for him to exercise his independent little skill set ...

... it's solid enough that he can't make a mess with it and it doubles as a nice pomade for Phoebe's luscious locks ...

... which she loves.

If curiosity about any of said products OR any of their other products is all but killing you ... feel free to pop over and grab something(s) and take $5 off with code: PATTON5 (expires 4/6/15) and be sure to enter the awesome giveaway below.
