RESTAURANT LE PETIT PRINCE

Yesterday, I went to Hakone with Carly specifically for Musee De Petit Prince. I've been wanting to go here even when I was still living in Kansai but.. there are just too many constraints. To be honest it's location is in the of middle of nowhere but I will swim the ocean for it if it's the only way. PS. I can't swim.

Menu de hiver 2014 means "Winter menu 2014"

The interior was lovely as expected!

Guess where is this lamp based on?

Rose thé or rose tea (If you've read the book, you'll know why!)

"It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important."

Although I kind of feel bad that I've visited on winter and most of the plants I want to see are still not around, it's good reason to come back in the future.

I've got a set meal that includes sweet potato soup (it was sooo good!), hamburg steak with rice and rose thé. Carly got a fish doria or something similar.

Here are the fastidious dishes you can find at Restaurant Le Petit Prince by Monsieur Okabe.

Do you know the Musée des Lettres et Manuscrits on the Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris? That's my next dream!

On the wall they've written, night bar. But the museum usually closes at 6:00pm except for some special days. It's listed on their website

Their menu is written in French and Japanese only! It's good to know some French so I caught up, pottage means soup, pain ou riz means bread or rice..

Carly!

Look at that star-shaped egg!

“You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them... In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night...You - only you - will have stars that can laugh.”

"I pointed out to the little prince that baobabs were not little bushes, but, on the contrary, trees as big as castles; and that even if he took a whole herd of elephants away with him, the herd would not eat up one single baobab."

Ahh~ I kind of regret not ordering the dessert as well!

My reflection by the door. #Photographerproblems

The museum is located by the main road so it's not that hard to find via bus.

“The proof that the little prince existed is that he was charming, that he laughed, and that he was looking for a sheep. If anybody wants a sheep, that is a proof that he exists.”
