I do have a soft spot for the Brit Awards. Maybe it goes back to the days when I used to tape them off the TV and then spend the next week learning the dance routine to the Spice Girls, or maybe it's the nostalgic memory of 90s Brit Pop rock stars behaving badly. Whatever you think of the Brits, it does have that light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek vibe that most awards show lack and this always comes across on the red carpet.
The style gurus at Venus have been kind enough to share with me their take on this fun, flirty and sparkly red carpet and the beauty and style tips that you can try yourself. First off we have Venus Celebrity Stylist, Angie Smith, who reveals her coveted styling advice so you can recreate these looks at home, while Venus Beauty Therapist Nathalie Eleni shares her insider tips on recreating the hottest red carpet beauty trends.

A relatively simple hair style, Lily has brought it into the 21st century using the latest trend of wearing brights on the hair; this can be recreated by using hair chalks or a clip in extension for a less permanent, but just as effective, splash of colour.
