3 Steps to Smooth Skin

At this point I'm fairly tired of winter now. We're into March and there is still plenty of snow on the ground. The chilly, drying air does no good to my skin so I need a little help from products.
Regular exfoliation really helps keep my skin smooth but some scrubs can almost be a little drying. One that I have been testing and loving recently is the Jealous Body Coffee Coconut Scrub*. The ingredients in this product are simple; the blend of coffee, brown sugar, and sea salt help to buff away dry skin and improve circulation while the organic coconut oil, vitamin E and minerals help to nourish, protect, and repair the skin. I take a handful of this all over the body twice a week on damp skin, rub it all in, and let it sit for about five minutes. When I rinse it off, I'm left with smooth and visibly nourished skin. It rinses clean easily and fills the bathroom with the smell of fresh coffee.
If I'm following up the scrub with some shaving, I use a bit of LUSH D'Fluff over the area first. This strawberry shaving soap is whisked up with nourishing ingredients like rosehip oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. I take a small amount of product and massage it onto the skin until it works into a bit of a foamy lather. That is when I know it is ready to be hit with the razor to allow for a smooth and close shave.

Post-shower, I finish it all off with the Desert Essence Coconut Hand & Body Lotion. It's a moisturizing body lotion that isn't too greasy and sinks in fast. It contains organic shea butter and jojoba oil, and smells of pure coconut. The scent will linger for a while without being too overpowering. These body lotions by Desert Essence have overtaken The Body Shop Body Butters as my favourite body moisturizers.
