Not because of the exercising, but I've been loving
Slim Aarons photography lately.
Massimo Vitali has a similar idea except his work is set in a contemporary setting and of 'the masses'. Slim captured a bygone era of (American) celebrities and luxury. You'll find they both gravitate towards beach lounging or poolside activities
(however, the focus is very different- Slim on the illustrious luxury life of the wealthy, Massimo focusing on herds of people and congregation). I thing I love about both of them is the way they have captured the very essence being free from everyday stress and simply livin' it up. Have a look at some of their work; we'll start with Slim first:
(via) So that's Slim's stuff. Wish you were there right? Yes me too. He quoted his body of work as “photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places”. Ain't a bad office.
Now let's look at
Massimo Vitali.
(via) Maybe I'm just digging their work right now because spring is here and I'm ready to lounge around; either in a herd or with exclusive celebrities. I'm really not too picky- as long as there are margaritas.
Cheers amigos!
