Favorite Wears: Windowpane Check for Day to Night

A couple weekends ago I attended an award event for work. It was cocktail attire, but for some reason I couldn't get past the chunk of windowpane print in my closet. So, I went for a semi-work looking pairing, but with the double windowpane print, I think it worked for a bold outfit for a night out and not super workish.
Because I'm obsessed with this print right now (and inspired from these looks), I quickly styled the same base (skirt blouse) for a more casual, day-time look. I'm sharing with you how this windowpane on windowpane (or do you call it grid?) print pairing works for day or night.
I also think it's the perfect print to transition straight into spring with all the white, but totally works right now paired with tights and thicker layers. I'm excited to break up this duo and wear them with bright colors and other patters (and really digging it with the leopard...). See the looks below, and let me know what you think in the comments below!
{Outfit Details: Windowpane skirt & blouse, Sweater - J.Crew, similar; Bucket Bag c/o; Booties; Sunnies c/o; Gold bracelets - Madewell; Gold Fitbit holder/bracelet thing; Leopard Coat (on sale!); Lipstick}
