Hey Luvs,

Hope you all are doing lovely and feeling great!! I'm back with another Face Beat & Tamed Tresses post. For this FBTT look, I wanted to have some fun with glitter and big curly hair!

Continue Reading Below for Hair and Makeup Details.

Hair Details
I have been really bored with my hair lately. I was craving for a change so I decided to pull out one of my trusty half wigs from my stash...yes I have a stash of half wigs and yes this is a half wig! When I first started my natural hair journey, I would wear a lot of half wigs and braids because I wasn't confident enough to rock my natural hair. I rarely wear half wigs anymore because of maintenance and hassle involved with keeping my leave out straight. For those of you who are wondering, a half wig is basically a wig that does not fully cover your entire head; some people also refer to it as a quick weave. When wearing a half-wig some of your hair is out in the front, or you can just throw on a headband if you're lazy (which I am guilty of doing lol).

The wig that I'm wearing is French by Outre. I purchased it for only $15.99 from Hairsisters.com! I cut some of the length off of the wig and shaped the hair around my face by cutting until I got the desired shape. I used a paddle brush to loosen up the curls and to add more volume. Yesss to big hair!

The wig is synthetic and has two combs, one in the back and one in the front, which helped secure the wig to my head. I left out a small amount of my hair around the front perimeter and straightened it so that it would blend with the wig better. To help lay my edges down I used the Curls Passion Fruit Control Paste (which is bomb!).

Isn't this hair so pretty? You can purchase the wig here if you're interested.

Now let's talk about my makeup! I had some glitter laying around that I've never used. I got it from IMATS about 2 years ago and I knew that it was time for me to make use of it! I decided to go with the blue glitter and create a fun blue eye makeup look.
