For the second year in a row, the automotive giant honored Hispanic women who personify the brands four core pillars: smart, green, quality, and safety. The honored women represent the 22 million exceptional Latinas in the United States that are making a difference in the workforce, household, environment, and community.

It was truly an honor for me, being in the presence of such motivational and persevering women. I don't always make it out to every event I am invited to because of the whole commute, toll and sitter arrangements however this was one event that I did not want to miss out on.

Hearing about how each lady is making a difference in their community despite their own circumstance is always a great encourager and ignites within me the desire to do more, to try more, to be more.
