Hashtag Beauty Problems

Remember a while back when I told you about the P&G Beauty Collective? Well, we’re at it again. And today we’re tackling #BEAUTYPROBLEMS.

Now this is similar to Your Beauty Questions, Answered…although I think these problems are just as important (but apparently no one bothered to ask Google in 2014). Of course I would never just throw a bunch of problems in your face with no solutions. Today is all about your beauty problems SOLVED (clearly, I could’ve used these solutions prior to that disaster of a photo above).

PROBLEM: Flat, greasy hair

SOLUTION: Aussie Total Miracle 7N1 Dry Shampoo

I’ve tried A LOT of dry shampoos in the past. I never even really liked them until the last couple of years. Seems like the beauty folks finally got their acts together and created products that don’t make your hair more greasy (or maybe I was just using them wrong…which is 100% a possibility). I’m sure you know by now you’re not supposed to wash your hair everyday, and sometimes I really like to push it (sort of like that episode of Seinfeld when Kramer sees how long he can go with the gas light on…actually it’s exactly like that). So on those days when I may have pushed it a little too far and could really use a little love up top, this stuff does just the trick. It’s actually the first ever dry shampoo from Aussie, as part of their new 7N1 collection (because why have one benefit when you can have SEVEN?!) Have you ever used a hair product that gives you fresh and full-looking hair with color-protection (which I need, as I do get my roots done thanks to genetics and gray hairs) plus a perfect matte finish? It’s like getting a blowout without spending $50 at the salon. Truth be told, I sprayed a TON of this in my hair for this shoot (like way more than I’d ever normally put in my hair…anything for the photo, right?) and it actually looked awesome when we were finished. Just sayin’.

PROBLEM: You smell (sorry…someone had to say it)

SOLUTION: Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant with Adapts & Responds Technology

So I actually learned something new when it comes to deodorant. Apparently most of them only work for “regular sweat” (like going to the gym sweat…something I’ve only recently discovered exists). So what about those other unexpected sweaty moments? Like when the Net-a-Porter Clearance Sale is about to end and you need to make sure you’ve purchased everything you love in your size (or even if it’s not your size) that you can possibly afford? Trust me. I know how it feels. And in those moments when you’re sweating through your Equipment silk blouse, wishing there was something you could do about it…you can. And it’s no SECRET anymore

PROBLEM: Finding the right mascara

SOLUTION: CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom

There are a lot of problems we can have when it comes to eyelashes (not full enough, too short, too straight, etc.) And it can’t just be me who thinks that finding “the one” is the most difficult when it comes to mascara, as opposed to any other type of makeup. It took me years to find a mascara I didn’t totally hate when I already was pretty set in the bronzer / blush / concealer / categories. I don’t know what it is but finding the perfect mascara is like finding the Alaia boots that you longed for three years ago in your size on eBay at almost 70% off the original retail price…it’s VERY rare (I have proof), but it CAN happen. Now what exactly is the “perfect” mascara? It might be different for everyone, but for me it’s something that gives length and volume in an effortless way without clumps or flakes. I’ve been a fan of the CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara for years (same collection the Full Lash Bloom STEMS from…get it?) so this is really everything I could ever want in a mascara, and more!

Those are just a few of many beauty problems we face everyday. But thankfully, we’ve found the solutions. Now if you happen to have more hair problems than overall beauty problems (or if you just really miss those Shit Girls Say videos), then I think you’re going to enjoy this…

I’d say 80% of the time when I’m not home, I’m thinking that there is some hair tool that I forgot to turn off…so “girl” I can relate!

Want to solve even more beauty problems? These should do the trick.
