Desert Safari

This Bloggerati getaway is proudly sponsored by Dubai Tourism.

Platinum Heritage run the Desert Safari and it is a must-see if you come to Dubai. The scenery is just spectacular! The contrast between the sand and the sky just looks impeccable. You could wear your pajamas and take a photo here and still look good I’m sure! Okay, probably only because no one will be looking at the person in the photo! I can’t believe that my little Sony travel camera took these amazing shots. More with the link below!
I have to say that this has been the highlight of my trip so far. The ride to the camp was fun. Although I felt a bit car sick at one point. The key is to look straight, but I was busy taking photos. I would rather throw up than not take any photos. haha

The gentlemen that drove us there also tied scarfs on our head, which are known as keffiyeh. How do I look? I think I look a tiny bit cooler with the, keffiyeh hmmm, need to think of a way to incorporate it into a future outfit.

We arrived at the camp after the sun had set and this was when taking photos with my camera become a major challenge. We got to sit on the camel for a quick ride. It was surprisingly pleasant. We had our dinner there and the food was delicious. Good balance of flavour! I will definitely come back here again, for more crazy photo opportunities and the food of course all thanks to our awesome tour operator, Platinum Heritage! Enjoy the rest of the photos and there will be a fashion photo blog post from the desert soon!
