Just prancing around beautiful Milan in Italian clothes and kilos of gelato in the system due to the insanely hot sun. I started this beautiful day in peace- walking around Corso Como and visiting the boutique in the photos above which I highly recommend. Part of me was dragging me to the park across the street, and oddly enough I must admit that sitting in the park with only nature in sight was one of the most sensational moments of my month. I never used to believe New-Yorkers who would say “you get sick of the city after a while and feel like you’re trapped, and all you want is to be in nature”. I’d be like “oh p-l-e-a-s-e.” It’s true though, their hips don’t lie. It’s amazing what five minutes on the grass, in nature can do to your day. Humans are beings of the wild, something in our hearts attracts us to the beach, to the forest, to primary values such as family and the comfort it brings. So it’s no wonder that in modern day society there’s so much anxiety and panic- we’re living in obverse conditions for extended periods of time. Don’t forget to get back to nature every once in a while, you won’t regret it.

After being a freak in the park I walked to the MSGM show and then straight after to the Au Jour Le Jour show, both of which were so cool. The Au Jour Le Jour print was decked out in sequinned sushi/maki decals and fruit prints, which I was totally swooning over. It’s an endlessly interesting experience to see how much New York, London and Milan fashion weeks are different. Paris the dream here. One day.. okay well one day after I thoroughly do some naturalistic rehabilitation.
