DOUBLE DARING :: ROSIE x ROXANNE ASSOULINE

I always look forward to seeing my friend Nicole Cohen’s images from the Rosie Assouline show during NYFW. She gets the behind the scenes, as well as the presentation, but this year there was something more that caught my eye than the usual dramatic pieces put forth by the talented designer…

The statement-making single flower earrings created for the collection by Rosie’s mother-in-law, Roxanne Assouline.

The gold is worthy of a goddess, while the red lends a bold, exotic feel…

And the white and jewel-encrusted are would be perfect for the most chic of occasions…

Speaking of which…

If a ring were to appear on my finger this year, I would absolutely claim this as a wedding dress possibility. I love the cut, the unique hemline, and the simplicity. It’s classic and original all at the same time.

Another favorite looked evoked a deconstructed Carolina Herrera moment for me.

But this look may have stolen the show in my book. I love a dramatic, bare back! The pieces in that insanely good stripe were all stunning though.
