New Year! Better Me!

It's officially 2013 and I couldn't be happier! The past year has been such a whirlwind of new experiences in a new city. I've become a freelance writer, a party host, and been the face of a major fashion campaign. I've shared the stage with drag star Sharon Needles, and shared meals with blog star and new friend Audrey Kitching. Speaking of new friends, I've made so so many amazing friends in the past year from all walks of life. Drag queens, club owners, club stars, pop stars, dj's, photographers, bloggers, milliners, designers, illustrators, models, makeup makers, fashion icons, stylists, makeup artists, chefs... I feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many driven and accomplished people not only in NYC but all over the USA and overseas! You are all so inspiring and I can't wait to see where all our very different adventures take us!
I have some amazing goals for this year within the fashion industry. I feel like I'm settled here after a year and some odd months in this big crazy city, and after taking time to watch, learn, and experience, I'm ready to jump in and compete! I can't wait!
I hope you are all feeling as optimistic about 2013 as I am! Nothing like an unlucky number to bring an AMAZING new year! Let's all stick to our goals and move forward with our fabulous dreams! I mean, what else is there to do? XO
