Love and Thanks Giveaway
Yesterday was one of those days where I just needed a hug. I had an emotionally difficult day. Maybe it was hormones, maybe it was a much needed release, but I found myself crying during my planning period for no reason. I wrote a post about how I felt bad leaving my daughter at daycare. Instead of my readers telling me to suck it up, or just browsing through my post, they commented. They shared their own experiences and told me what I was feeling was NORMAL. Normal and common and they felt it too. So… instead of feeling sorry for myself, I felt empowered. This morning I tried my best to exude positivity when I dropped Annabelle off at daycare and I didn’t cry! She did a little, but I heard her stop quickly. A lot more quickly than she has in the last 15 times I have dropped her off – because I can always hear her crying when I leave the building.
