Copy Cat Chic Room Redo | Striped Traditional Foyer

I may be a Texas girl now, but traditional spaces like this lovely Charleston entry still bring out my inner native southerner. I can't get enough of the ship lap walls and that preppy striped rug – they're perfect for the casual feel of this coastal home. The nautical artwork nods to the location as well, but without feeling too beach-house-kitschy. A round entry table is a great idea if you have the space; it allows traffic to flow smoothy but gives a wide hallway a focal point and a surface on which to place beautiful decor. The statement-making lantern has to be my favorite part though – what a welcome!
