crisp days + cool nights

I always find a move into a new place to be particularly thrilling. Not that I particularly enjoy spending my weekends sorting, purging and packing, however I do enjoy the rush I get when dreaming up a new home for Jon and I. Our new apartment has a fireplace. A tall, brick fireplace that I am extremely excited to dress up with artwork, to light up with candles and to adorn with our Christmas stockings for the very first time.

And while we may not be in the apartment until the end of November, I can look forward to many a winter’s night curled up in front of it, catching up on an increasingly large stack of overdue-to-be-read reads.
