Today we’re excited to be sharing gifts to make, buy, and read for creative Kids and Tweens ages 6 to 12. There is so much natural creativity and curiosity in school-aged kids. Even as pre-teens or tweens, kids are looking for a way to keep the fun of childhood while taking on a few more grown-up tasks (and what’s better than owning your own “grown-up” creative tool like a sewing machine or your own tool set?!)
Our quick disclaimer – we know these gifts range in prices and certainly aren’t saying you should purchase them all – this is just a creative starting point! Also, some of these items include affiliate links – that means we get a small commission if you make a purchase that we use to keep Crafting Connections up, running, and remaining awesome (and ad free!) Thanks for your support!
We also really love Snap Circuits – a fun way to explore circuitry and electronics!
So these are a few gifts we will be turning to for the school-aged kids and tweens in our lives – for holidays and birthdays – how about you? What would you add to our list? Leave a comment below!
Looking for more ideas? We have loads more over on Pinterest (click to see more), including Gifts for Creative Kids, Gifts for Creatives (Him & Her), Toys to Make & Give, and Handmade Gifts for Everyone – and we’re adding to these boards every day!
