Crochet Cushion Covers

Yay, I am so happy with my two finished crochet cushion covers this Friday! One square, one rectangular, one very detailed with 16 flowers and thought through colour lay out, one with just stripes. Both exactly how I love them.

They fit very well in our pre-Spring interior, and match perfectly with flowers like daffodils, tulips and ranunculus. Both crochet covers are just the front, I sewed their backs and hand stitched the crochet parts on. I have to admit it is my least favourite job to do, I actually prefer sewing in ends over this hand stitching that seems to take forever.

But, it’s done and we can finally enjoy these cushions that I’ve planned out and started exactly one year ago. Hurray for finishing long time WIP projects! By the way, would you be interested in the patterns at all?

There is one more cover in the making, just because we have two rectangular pillows on the couch. But more about that in a couple of months. By that time you’ll understand why it had to wait…

Enjoy your weekend! xo
